Throughout her career, Arons has built iconic brands while encouraging women to lead with authenticity, embrace opportunity, and define success on their own terms. Here are five takeaways inspired by her visit. - **Authenticity never goes out of style.** Whether you're building a wardrobe, a career, or a business, don't chase trends just because everyone else is. Your greatest strength is being yourself. - **Say yes to exploring.** Arons didn't simply fly in and fly out. She experienced Toledo. Whether you're traveling for work or pleasure, some of the best inspiration comes from stepping outside your schedule and discovering something new. ![IMG\_4785](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_4785.jpg?width=350&height=622&name=IMG_4785.jpg) - **Surround yourself with people you enjoy.** From Kate Spade to Frances Valentine, Arons has built brands alongside trusted friends and collaborators. Strong relationships are just as valuable as talent. - **Don't wait until you're "ready."** When the Kate Spade team launched their brand, they didn't have all the answers. They learned along the way. Sometimes the best time to start is before you feel completely prepared. - **Style is confidence, not just clothing.** While fashion is her business, Arons' message is bigger than what we wear. Confidence, authenticity, curiosity, and kindness never go out of style. Those are the qualities that leave a lasting impression.   ## Share this post [mailto:https%3A%2F%2Ffeedback.buzzbookonline.com%2Fbuzz-about-town%2F5-style-career-lessons-from-elyce-arons-visit-to-toledo](mailto:https%3A%2F%2Ffeedback.buzzbookonline.com%2Fbuzz-about-town%2F5-style-career-lessons-from-elyce-arons-visit-to-toledo) ## Keep reading ### [![Kate McComb talks about Fall Fashion in the 2026 seasonal issue of The Buzz Book](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Fall%20Fashion.png?width=1200&height=630&name=Fall%20Fashion.png) Greater Toledo Northwest Ohio From Fashion Week to Northwest Ohio: Your Fall Style Guide](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/buzz-about-town/from-fashion-week-to-northwest-ohio-your-fall-style-guide) ### [![Jeanne Heinze Tomasi, Lactation Consultant ](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/hs-fs/hubfs/2671_Jeanne_CaringLactationServices.jpg?width=5184&height=3456&name=2671_Jeanne_CaringLactationServices.jpg) Sylvania, Ohio Greater Toledo Gentle Guidance for New and Expectant Moms](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/buzz-about-town/gentle-guidance-for-new-and-expectant-moms) ## The Buzz Book - [Find us in real life](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/find-the-latest-edition-of-buzz-book-in-nw-ohio) - [Find us online](https://buzzbookonline.com/) - [Read our blog](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/buzz-about-town) --- Privacy Policy · Legal · © 2026.
