The dining room becomes a gathering place. The guest room gets a second look. And the spaces we live in every day suddenly matter a little more when family and friends are coming through the door. ![Tim and Kathleen 4](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Tim%20and%20Kathleen%204.png?width=275&height=344&name=Tim%20and%20Kathleen%204.png)For **Tim and Kathleen “Kat” Wozny**, owners of JAC Painting in Perrysburg, that feeling of welcome is at the heart of what they do. Tim says home during the holidays means **“family, relaxation, gathering and catching up — traditions!”** And sometimes, creating that atmosphere starts with something as simple as a fresh coat of paint. JAC Painting began as a side hustle after a friend encouraged Tim to turn his talent into a business. What started as a way to help cover his daughter’s college expenses quickly grew into something much bigger. Today, Tim and Kat work side by side, bringing their complementary strengths and plenty of teamwork to every project. Their approach is especially thoughtful in lived-in homes. Furniture is protected, floors and high-traffic areas are carefully covered, and workspaces are cleaned and organized at the end of each day. Kat once even cleaned a dusty dining room light fixture before leaving — not because they had gotten paint on it, but because she didn’t want it hanging over a beautifully refreshed room. That attention to detail is part of the JAC name itself. Tim named the company after his grandfather, **John Arthur Course**, who taught him that **“anything worth doing is worth doing correctly.”![JAC Living Room Makeover](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/hs-fs/hubfs/JAC%20Living%20Room%20Makeover.png?width=275&height=275&name=JAC%20Living%20Room%20Makeover.png)** Whether you’re refreshing a guest room, dining space or family room, JAC Painting believes the goal is bigger than new color: it’s helping create a home that feels warm, cared for and ready to welcome the people you love.   ## Share this post [mailto:https%3A%2F%2Ffeedback.buzzbookonline.com%2Fbuzz-about-town%2Fa-fresh-welcome](mailto:https%3A%2F%2Ffeedback.buzzbookonline.com%2Fbuzz-about-town%2Fa-fresh-welcome) ## Keep reading ### [![](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/hs-fs/hubfs/4.png?width=3984&height=2656&name=4.png) Perrysburg, Ohio Sylvania, Ohio Greater Toledo Cozy Coffee Crawl in Greater Toledo](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/buzz-about-town/cozy-coffee-crawl-in-greater-toledo) ### [![Blackberry Witches' Brew Recipe](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/hs-fs/hubfs/iStock-1759955871.jpg?width=4082&height=6123&name=iStock-1759955871.jpg) Northwest Ohio Recipes One Bewitching Recipe, Enjoyed Three Ways](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/buzz-about-town/one-bewitching-recipe-enjoyed-three-ways) ## The Buzz Book - [Find us in real life](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/find-the-latest-edition-of-buzz-book-in-nw-ohio) - [Find us online](https://buzzbookonline.com/) - [Read our blog](https://feedback.buzzbookonline.com/buzz-about-town) --- Privacy Policy · Legal · © 2026.
