Toledo Zoo & Aquarium | 2 Hippo Way, Toledo
Enjoy the Zoo during the cooler evening hours! Half-price admission is available from 4–8 p.m., and the Zoo remains open until 9 p.m. Guests can explore many favorite exhibits, enjoy select attractions and concessions, and make the most of one of the final Twilight Evenings of the summer.

Wood County Park District | Ewing Island area
Paddle around Ewing Island with a Wood County Park District naturalist as the sun sets and the moon rises. Along the approximately 2.5-mile journey, participants may spot bald eagles, painted turtles, beavers and other wildlife while learning about the island’s ecology and history.
Previous paddling experience is recommended. Two-person canoes are provided, and advance registration is required. The Park District will provide the meeting location and additional instructions to registered participants.

The Salt Cave of Perrysburg | 318 Louisiana Ave., Perrysburg
End the week on a peaceful note with an immersive sound bath inside The Salt Cave of Perrysburg. The calming combination of sound and the cave’s relaxing atmosphere creates a restorative experience for the body and mind.

Friday, August 28 | 7–9 p.m.
Sawyer Quarry Nature Preserve | 26940 Lime City Road, Perrysburg
Gather around the campfire for s’mores, cornhole and an evening inside one of Wood County’s most distinctive parks. Guests can also try self-guided, low-level bouldering, with a naturalist available to provide an introduction. Climbing shoes will be available.
Stop by anytime between 7 and 9 p.m., and remember to bring a camp chair.

Friday, August 28 | 7:30–9 p.m.
Hoover Auditorium | 115 W. Third St., Lakeside Marblehead
Take a trip through Fleetwood Mac’s unforgettable catalog as Rumours brings favorites such as “Dreams,” “Go Your Own Way” and “Landslide” to the Hoover Auditorium stage. The Northeast Ohio tribute band is known for recreating the group’s signature harmonies and timeless sound.

Sunday, August 30 | 6–8 p.m.
The 577 Foundation | 577 E. Front St., Perrysburg
Bring whatever book you are currently reading and settle in for a relaxed evening at 577. The gathering begins with conversation and book recommendations, followed by an uninterrupted hour of reading and time to socialize—or keep reading—afterward.
This adults-only gathering is free, and no registration is required. It will take place on the screened porch of Virginia’s House when weather permits or inside the library if needed.
